Morphe 350 Nature Glow Review

Hey, how’s it going? I wanted to share my thoughts and review on this Morphe palette so let’s jump right in shall we?

First off, I notice how gorgeous it looks, right? And then I see the price and I’m like, $24 for 35 eyeshadows is amazing! And then I try it out…

Description

“Long for a neutral palette of orange and brown undertones? This game-changing Morphe’s 35O Nature Glow Eyeshadow Palette of beyond-creamy eyeshadows should do the trick. Bursting with practically every warm shade under the sun, you’ll be hard pressed to find a shimmer or matte shade you don’t love. From daytime to playtime you can buff, blend, and transition like a boss with these highly pigmented, super-blendable eyeshadows.” — ulta.com

The Good

This palette has a great range of warm oranges and browns as mentioned in the description. I could see myself creating endless looks because of all the shadows. It has a good mix of mattes and shimmery shades.

The Not so Great

When I first tried it out, I noticed a weird smell. I started swatching the shades on my arm. The shadows were smooth but powdery and did have fallout. Some shades didn’t have as much pigment as others did. It took a few tries to get a color swatch to show up. When I used some of the brown and darker shades, I noticed that the color didn’t transfer onto my eyelids as well as the oranges shades did. I had to really dip my brush in multiple times to get the color to show. This caused lots of fallout! The darker shades didn’t perform that great when I tried to blend them. The shimmery shades were disappointing. Usually, using your finger with the shimmery shades is the best way. It looked great when I swatched it, but when I applied it to my eyes, it was just sparkles and no color! Sadly, it barely lasted more than 4-5 hours even with a eyeshadow primer.

Bottom to top: Glow Girl, Pop, Extra, Burnt Spice, Slight

Final Thoughts

Unfortunately, this palette didn’t live up to the hype. In the end, I would go for LORAC or honestly even the Makeup Revolutions palette which is only for $7! Check out my review here if you are interested! Sadly, I don’t find myself reaching for this palette as often as I thought I would. Here’s a quick summary of my thoughts:

  • Powdery
  • Excessive fallout
  • Poor pigmentation
  • Cheap makeup smell
  • Doesn’t stay on long
  • Hard to blend shades
  • Great mix of orange and brown undertones

Thank you for reading!! What are your thoughts on this palette? Do you have any recommendations on what I should try next?

As always, don’t forget to stay Chic Neat and Sweet!
