How to Crush your Goals

Happy Monday! March is coming to an end and I couldn’t be more excited because Spring is my favorite season! Here’s a little beginning of the week motivation- enjoy!

Sometimes it’s good to be reminded that goals are not meant to bring us down. We should remember that goals are meant to push and motivate us to do our best. Often times, people give up on their goals because they simply don’t see results right away. I know that’s happened to me countless times. The best way to get past the demotivated feeling is to remember why you started.

WHY did you start this goal in the first place? What does it mean to you? WHY did you put your effort and focus into this goal? Do you still want this thing badly? Then pick yourself up and keep going!! No pain no gain people!

There is always a reason behind our goals. If we don’t clearly define the reason, it’s really easy to fall into the trap of ignoring your goals. Asking yourself these questions helps to change your perspective and gives you a clear vision to keep going!

What really helps me when it comes to achieving my goals is to see the end result. Go into the future and imagine what your life is like after this goal has been met! How do you feel? What has changed? Do you see the best version of yourself?

Equally important is having clear action steps to get to your end result. Just wishing and hoping for the best is not how Beyonce made it to the top of the world, okay? Jokes aside, write down daily, weekly or monthly action steps to your goal. These action steps can be small or big. Either way, it is still an action. It helps to see that you are making progress and it is great to motivate you as you get closer to your goal.

Lastly, just know that you deserve it! Don’t beat yourself up if you aren’t where you want to be! Remember: goals are meant to motivate you to be your best self. Have fun with it! You can do anything you want and it will all work out! Believe in yourself, work hard and see the magic happen.
