Hey everyone! Happy Monday. Today I want to share with you something I wrote a little while back for an assignment. I hope that you can take away something from this and use it as a reminder to take advantage of your life!

Although we think that someone is happy, it can very much be that they are putting on a fake persona. For these people, they’ve made life a struggle. They believe that life happens to them, not for them. Often times, when someone has to go through a difficult time in their life, it can be very hard for them to come out of it. But for all the sad and lonely people out there I want you to know that life is a beautiful experience. We are spiritual beings living in a physical human body. We are put on Earth to experience all the amazing phenomenons. When we let our thoughts get to the best of us, we inherently lose control of our minds. This is the definition of depression. Letting your thoughts control your life. Protecting our minds from negative thoughts leads to better spiritual health.

Ultimately, we need to take care of ourselves so we can experience the wonders of the world. You weren’t born to sleep in all day, wasting your time. Life may seem long but it really is short. Think about it. By the end of each year, countless people complain how so and so year went by too fast. But the time spent in school or at work seems tedious and stretched out as if time never moves. Unfortunately, your time on earth is limited but far too many people realize this when it is too late. Why do we spend 60+ years complaining or being depressed about life when you could be experiencing all that this world has to offer? It is a waste. The biggest mistake people make in their one and only lifetime is not taking advantage of the life they could have lived. Coulda woulda shoulda.

Stop all this nonsense and be the person you want to be. Seize the day! Live your life the way you want to. To all the students out there, use your time in school to explore, to venture out and to grow as a person! We only live once, and many of us know that, so live as much as you can. Living does not mean stressing out over your GPA and grades. It means learning through your mistakes and coming out stronger. So you didn’t get into your dream college. Life is not over! You are in control. What you make out of the situation determines a positive or negative outcome. You are in charge. Remember life happens for you not to you. So, how are you going to spend your time on Earth?
Thank you for reading today’s post!
