New Skincare and Beauty Products I’ve been Loving!

Happy May! This month the weather is warmer, the sun is out, and I can finally ditch the layers! Does anyone else feel like they came out of their shell because of the lovely weather?! On a more related note, unfortunately, it has been a while since me or Dani has posted since we have been busy caught up in life and school so much that we didn’t have time to blog ):beauty favs 2018

Now about the post! I decided that it’s been a while since I’ve shared my favorites so why not today! Most beauty and skin care brands have been launching new stuff for their summer collection which is great for us makeup and skin care lovers! If you are looking to get your summer glow on, keep reading to find out what I’ve been loving to get that fresh looking skin!

Garnier SkinActive Soothing Cleansing Milk – This is the best cleanser I have tried hands down! It has a mild but amazing rose scent since it is made with rose-water. I was a bit skeptical at first but not for long! It is made without sulfates, dyes, silicone, and parabens! The bottle has a pump which is a plus. When you wash your face, you don’t need to wet your skin. Just start massaging your face and rinse. It leaves your skin feeling so smooth and seriously refreshed. Also, it is about $6 to $8 depending on where you buy it from. IMG_3602The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion – Another great find this year is this lotion from The Body Shop! I have acne prone skin so moisturizer are too heavy for my skin or clog my pores. The consistency is literally liquid! It just glides on your skin and soaks it up! This is honestly perfect for the hotter days when your skin isn’t dry but you need to moisture!IMG_3603

BareMinerals Original Powder Foundation – BareMinerals original powder foundation, which surprisingly I hadn’t tried yet, is beautiful and has buildable full coverage. Powder foundations are the best for the girl on the go and this one did not disappoint! I am going to use it a couple of times more and really test it out, but for now it’s great!IMG_3604

Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush – At $14.00, it is a bit pricey for me but I am glad I bought it, because it is truly my new favorite. I use it for everything from powders to blushes and concealer! If you just want one makeup brush in your purse it has got to be this one! This is available in Ulta!IMG_3657IMG_3654

Wet n Wild Coloricon Baked Blush – Color: Don’t flutter yourself. Only for $4.99! Talk about affordable! Absolutely in love with this shimmery, light pink blush! The pigment is insanely strong! One swipe is all it takes to look like a glowing goddess! I personally use it as a highlighter instead of a blush since I didn’t expect it to be so shimmery. Buy it now because it is part of their limited edition!

Maybelline The Falsies Pushup Drama Mascara – I haven’t tried this one a whole lot, but from the 2-3 times that I have I did really enjoy it! The small wand is perfect for my small eyes and I can really coat all my lashes perfectly! I love the separated yet natural effect!IMG_3608

Last but not the least, this EOS lip balm! Very helpful if you have dry lips, plus your lips look plump and smooth. IMG_3611

You made it to the end! This was a long list of recent favorites, but hopefully you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading!

And as always, don’t forget to stay Chic Neat and Sweet!
