Aditi’s Skin Care Routine

A skin care routine is a must, yet it’s hard to come up with one that you can religiously follow.  Here’s my skin care routine that works for me. I hope you can learn something new and incorporate it into your routine as well! Remember, achieving clear skin is not impossible!

  1. I like to first wash my face with a gentle cleanser. I use one by Olay.
  2. Then I use an exfoliator and gently rub it in circular motions to remove dry/dead skin. I love the one by Lush Cosmetics which leaves my skin very smooth. Only exfoliate 2-3 times a week as over exfoliation can lead to breakouts.
  3.  Pat your face dry and apply a facial toner. Toners are used to balance the skins natural oils and if you are an oily skin type it is a must! I personally use a homemade toner which uses equal parts of water and 100% apple cider vinegar. Ever since I started using a toner it has helped me tremendously by reducing my breakouts!
  4. Lastly, I use a moisturizer. Try to find one that suits your skin needs and also includes SPF of at least 15.

One of the best tips I have ever received is to not pick on any breakouts-no matter what! Although it sounds simple, it’s a habit that causes unnecessary stress to our skin and forms more pimples.

If you can follow a skin care routine you will notice a huge difference in your skins appearance which makes you and your skin happy! 🙂
Just remember to Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize twice a day.
As always, don’t forget to stay Chic, Neat and Sweet!
