Turning Hate Into Love- Holiday Edition 

A little over a month ago, I wrote a post called Turning Hate Into Love, where I shared ways you could spread love and kindness, in your everyday life. Click here to read it, if you haven’t already! For today, day 10 of Blogmas, I am sharing more ideas for you to do during the holiday season. I hope you guys enjoy these and find time to do them!


1. Hum Christmas songs

2. Surprise someone with hot cocoa

3. Make scarfs/mittens for donation

4. Share some baked goods with friends/family

5. Give small gift packages for people who are not expecting it (mailman, bus drivers, etc)

6. Go caroling

7. Make a care package for soldiers

8. Volunteer at holiday festivals (tree lightings, homeless shelter, food pantries)

9. Read holiday books to kids in a hospital

10. Write thank-you notes to everybody who gives you gifts, and/or to people you are just thankful for

11. Donate Kleenex’s to schools

12. Rake leaves for someone

13. Shovel snow for someone

14. Buy Christmas gifts at small businesses

15. Start a Secret Santa

16. Hand out compliment cards

17. Wrap gifts for people

18. Help hang Christmas lights on houses

19. Host a holiday party

20. Spend extra time with family/friends

21. Help around the house (make meals, do someone else’s chores)

22. Put money in a Salvation Army bucket

23. Pass out candy canes

24. Let someone skip ahead of you in line

25. Smile, laugh, and enjoy your holiday
