Simple and Easy Energy Balls

Hi everyone! Today’s post is a simple and easy recipe(s) for energy balls. I have been looking for a quick but yummy breakfast and when I found these I had to give them a try. There are thousands of recipes for energy balls, but here is my take on them. I tried three different flavors. Let me know what you think.

Pumpkin and Cinnamon(makes 6 balls)

  • 1/2 Cup of Quick Oats
  • 1/4 Cup of Agave Nectar
  • 2 Tablespoons of Flax Seed
  • Handful of Pumpkin Seeds
  • Dash Cinnamon Spice

Peanut Butter and Chocolate (makes 6 balls)

  • 1/2 Cup of Quick Oats
  • 1/4 Cup of Peanut Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons of Agave Nectar
  • Handful of Chocolate Chips
  • 2 Tablespoons of Flax Seed

Cranberry and Ginger (makes 6 balls)

  • 1/2 Cup of Quick Oats
  • 1/4 Cup of Agave Nectar
  • 2 Tablespoons of Flax Seed
  • Handful of Dried Cranberries
  • 3 Teaspoons of Ground Ginger

Instructions For All Flavors: 

  • Measure out ingredients
  • Mix all together in a bowl
  • The ingredients have to be cold to roll into a ball, so make sure you either leave them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes or place in the freezer for quicker results
  • Roll and shape into balls
  • Place in a container and leave in fridge. The balls are good for about a week, and best served with cold milk or a cup of coffee.

That’s it guys! They taste great, and are easy to make. They are perfect for a make ahead, then grab and go snack or breakfast you could even eat these as a dessert! Let me know if you make them and how they turn out!
