As we run through our daily lives we find our selves busy with school, work, friends/family, hobbies, and more. More often than not we are so focused on checking things off our to-do list we don’t stop and make sure we are really utilizing our time and making the most out of our lifestyles. If you feel stressed, unorganized, tired, or are just in a rut you should consider changing your lifestyle and making it more ‘whole’ or healthy.

Creating a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean making one huge change. It simply means making small adjustments everyday. Here is 49 small adjustments you can make to get a healthy lifestyle!

  1. Set a timer for 5 minutes and clean up as much as you can
  2. Drink water.
  3. Create a workout routine
  4. Workout 3-4 times a week
  5. Spend at least 30 minutes outside a day.
  6. Walk/Bike places instead of driving
  7. Listen to a podcast.
  8. Read
  9. Change up your outfit rotation (aka don’t wear the same sweatshirt every week)
  10. Take a few minutes to your self a day and collect your thoughts
  11. Meditate
  12. Hang out with friends at least once a week
  13. Do a random act of kindness everyday
  14. Get 7-8 hours of sleep a night
  15. Have a spa day once a month
  16. Don’t yell. Think before you speak.
  17. Drink green tea and/or lemon water.
  18. Utilize a planner
  19. Spend only 1-3 hours a day on technology
  20. Compliment someone everyday
  21. Try a new hobby
  22. Join a club
  23. Start journaling
  24. Doodle
  25. Wake up between 5 and 7 everyday
  26. Follow the one in, one out rule when shopping for clothes
  27. Create a budget and stick to it
  28. Switch up the decor/photos in your home every so often
  29. Do a monthly challenge
  30. Eat 5 fruits and veggies a day
  31. Try a new recipe every other week
  32. Start planning meals a week at a time
  33. Organize/Create a system in every room of your home
  34. Do daily affirmations
  35. Volunteer 1-3 times a month
  36. Try something new every month
  37. Introcude yourself and meet new people
  38. Stop stressing over social media
  39. Utilize Do Not Disturb on your phone
  40. Write old fashion letters to friends and family
  41. Take pictures of everything
  42. Find and post up your favorite quotes
  43. Stop procrastinating

  45. Take time taking care of and washing your skin, hair, nails, body
  46. Color code and label everything
  47. Stand up for yourself
